Bent Knee Creative is owned and managed by Tony Millett and William (Bill) McQuillen. Both have been involved in the entertainment industry internationally for over 25 years. BKC began in 2000 after Tony had returned to living in Perth and Bill had moved to Perth after twenty years working in Hollywood, USA.
Tony Millett
As a performer Tony has danced, sung, acted or produced his way around the world working in numerous prestigeous productions. Starting his dance training at the age of three, by the time he got his first professional job at age 16 he was trained in tap, jazz, ballroom, acrobats, ballet, singing and acting. He has either performed, or been cast in shows such as; the Original Australian Cast productions of "La Cage aux Folles", "Crazy For You" and "Cats", as well as perfoming in the Australasian tour of "42nd Street" and was part of the creative management team for the German Cast of Andrew Lloyyd Weber's "Starlight Express". He has also performed in productions of "Chicago", "Oklahoma", "Irene" and choreographed the Australian production of the childrens musical "Fireman Sam to the Rescue", and SWY Theater Companies production of "Beach Blanket Tempest".
In addition, as his hobby he competed as a Figure Skater, winning numerous medals at Australian National Level, including three Gold! He now is a highly sought after coach on both Ice and Roller- Skates, with over twenty students all competing at the national level. In December 2005 one couple he coaches were ranked 15th in the world Skating Championships in Rome.
Bill McQuillen
Moving to Perth in 2000 Bill brought to Australia his vast knowledge of the entertainment business and unique eye for new talent. For fifteen years he worked in Hollywood as a Theatrical Agent working with the likes of Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Drew Barrymore, Julie Andrews and Patrick Swayze, to name a few. For three years in Hollywood Bill was casting actors in films working with such directors as Steven Spielberg on "Always", Mike Nichols on "Silkwood" and Michael Apted on "Class Action". At one point he ran his own Actor's Management Company. In his belief of 'giving back to the community' Bill donated countless hours to seminars, competitions and workshops all devoted to up-and-coming actors. He is most notably known for discovering Winona Ryder.
